Rooms and Facilities at our Dunblane Care Home

Our Dunblane nursing home is a purpose-built building that is specifically designed for our residents. Completed in 2006, the building boasts great accessibility, a sense of space, beautiful décor and breathtaking landscaped gardens. The feedback we receive from our residents and their families are testament to both the location and facilities. The building consists of 60 single rooms with ensuite shower facilities over two floors. The rooms themselves are decorated to the highest standards and benefit from telephones, internet access, wall mounted TV and a nurse call system. Essentially everything you could ever want from a leading UK retirement home in Dunblane!

The Management at our Dunblane Nursing Home

The Management lead at our Dunblane residential care home is Jo Comrie. Jo leads a team of dedicated, experienced registered nurses, carers and support staff and oversees the day to day running of the nursing home. Many of the staff have been working at our Dunblane private care home for many years and bring this experience to the fore when executing care plans and facilitating activities.

Nutritious Meals

Our chef and his kitchen team offer creative, nutritious and freshly prepared meals for residents at our Dunblane care home. The menu is changed every month and we try our very best to meet different peoples tastes and requirements. We are firm believers that a varied diet and delicious food is a mainstay in regard to quality of life, so we always place an emphasis on acquiring the freshest and highest quality ingredients that are locally sourced whenever possible.

Resident Activities

We place a strong emphasis on activities at our Dunblane care home and have a wide variety to choose from. If any of our residents want an activity that they’d like to do and we don’t currently offer this activity, we will do all in our power to try and implement it. Activities, regardless of the genre, are fun and interesting ways to keep the mind sharp and body active, whether carried out alone or as part of a group. We currently deliver many more hours of activities than advised by the Care Inspectorate, we do this because our residents enjoy them!

  • Thank you for the loving care and kindness that mum received. We would especially like to thank everyone who cared for mum in the final weeks of her life, and the way that we were always made to feel included and never in the way.

  • We wanted to tell you what a great job the nurses and carers did for Gran.

    Gran had her nails painted for the first time (at the age of 95!), and was delighted to show them to us. All the girls were brilliant with Gran, and the nurses we met were wonderful.

    Our countless questions were answered in a way that showed they knew Gran well and gave us the facts in a considerate way that showed they cared. They were always there when it mattered, and couldn’t have done more for us. For that we will always be grateful.

  • From the outset the staff made my father feel very much at home. He enjoyed the evening music sessions, occasional trips out and other activities. Throughout the whole of his stay the staff were unfailingly patient, empathetic and responsive to his changing needs.

    I think I can speak for all the family in saying that his last few years could not have been spent in a better place, and he could not have been better looked after.

    I am more than happy to acknowledge the superlative levels of care which I and the rest of the family always observed at Randolph Hill, and which my father had the benefit of, at the time of his life when he most needed it.
