The Falkirk Wheel Trip from Fidra House

Last week the Randolph Hill bus left Fidra House full of residents and carers to watch fellow staff members, Paula Dickson and Alice Harper, abseil the Falkirk Wheel. It was very miserable weather, but it didn’t dampen the resident’s spirits. On route, they all stopped off for lunch in South Queensferry with a lovely view of all three bridges. Paula and Alice were very brave and completed the abseil in good time, raising £680 for Alzheimer’s Scotland.   We are all very proud of them!

On the way home they stopped off at the Kelpies where they each received a postcard as a wee memento of their day, and planned a picnic lunch for their return in better weather!
