Celebrating Members of the Team

We highlight some incredible people who make Randolph Hill what it is today, as we continue our 40th anniversary celebrations. Today we thank David McCormick for his years of dedicated service.
David spent 20 years at Randolph Hill Dunblane, starting as a Care Assistant in 2002 and progressing to Senior Carer, then Principal Care Assistant—a role he held for 14 years. He was later promoted to become the company’s first Team Leader and now works at Head Office as Digital Implementation Lead, overseeing the rollout of digital care planning and medication systems.
“Randolph Hill prides itself on providing the best care possible to our residents and I feel very proud and privileged to work for what I feel is the best care home company in Scotland.
The best thing about working for Randolph Hill I believe is they give staff opportunities to progress their career. Randolph Hill provides relevant qualifications for staff to be able to complete their role in a safe and professional manner. They will also provide further qualifications opportunities for staff who wish to progress their own career in the nursing homes.
Randolph Hill also gives their care staff opportunities to move into management roles within the company when qualifications allow. This was always something previously only given to nursing staff, and I feel this is a progression the care sector really needed to help future proof companies in this sector.
Key moments for myself over the years would be gaining my SVQ level 4, Management award, and graduating at West Lothian College. I feel my current role of Implementing the digital care and medication system is a key moment in my career, to have a main role and be trusted in a new project is a massive achievement for myself.”
