Celebrating Members of the Team
Continuing our 40th anniversary celebrations, we highlight some incredible people who make Randolph Hill what it is today. Today we thank Eleanor Armour for her years of dedicated service.
Eleanor began working at Ashley Court Nursing Home with the Randolph Hill Group in 2008 as a Care Assistant and progressed to Senior Care Assistant, gaining valuable experience supporting both residents and colleagues. She later moved to a bank staff role, appreciating the flexibility while still feeling part of the team.
Eleanor values the supportive, family-like environment at Randolph Hill, where staff are genuinely appreciated and given opportunities to grow, something reflected in both her own career and her son’s journey from domestic staff to Senior Staff Nurse at Ashley Court.
One of the key highlights for Eleanor has been the yearly summer BBQ ‘’it’s a fantastic day where residents and staff come together to enjoy food, music, and a great atmosphere. It truly reflects the strong sense of community at Ashley Court. We also have regular staff nights out, which bring us closer as a team and makes work even more enjoyable.”
“ A particularly special memory was when alpacas from a local farm visited, seeing the residents’ faces light up was just unforgettable. And we can’t forget Tilly, our beloved Therapet dog, who visits every week. The joy she brings to the residents (and to us staff!) is something we all look forward to.”
