As part of our 40th anniversary celebrations, we continue to highlight the incredible people who make Randolph Hill what it is today. Today we thank Colin Blackadder for his years of dedicated service.
Colin, our Senior Bus Driver, recently celebrated 25 years of dedicated service with Randolph Hill. Starting as a carer, he quickly rose to become the Group’s first senior carer, driven by his exceptional commitment.
Our two privately owned accessible buses are a real asset to the Randolph Hill Group, but what truly makes the difference is how we use them. For us, it’s about creating dignified, respectful, and joyful experiences. It’s not just a trip, it’s freedom, social connection, and something to genuinely look forward to. “I always encourage everyone to choose where they want to go,” says Colin, who was also recently honoured as a top 3 finalist in Scottish Care’s Ancillary & Support Staff Award, after being nominated by both colleagues and residents for his outstanding contribution to care and support.
