As a nursing home, we employ registered nurses, care workers, domestic, kitchen and ancillary staff, along with managerial and administrative days. Together, at Kirk Lane, we form a strong professional unit where we treat our residents with kindness, affection and, of course, respect.
Kirk Lane has a high level of qualified staff. Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day, providing peace of mind for residents and their families. Nurses and our equally committed support staff form a professional, compassionate team with the ability to make life fulfilling and full of laughter.
We are registered with Howden General Medical Practice.
Kirk Lane is also supported by our Head Office Team.

One of the ways we make our home special is by welcoming every new resident, and their family, with warmth from the moment they arrive. Our Care in Hospitality Liaison ensures that their room has been prepared with care, adding those little touches that help it feel like their own. On arrival, we greet all with a friendly smile, and an offer of tea and cake.
Joanne is always on hand to answer questions, offer reassurance, and make those first days as comfortable as possible. Behind the scenes, Joanne also works closely with every team in the home to make sure each person’s individual needs and preferences are in place. It’s all about creating a smooth, supportive, and heartfelt experience at Kirk Lane.
Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group meets National Care Standards, see our current home’s listed inspection reports . This is in many ways due to the outstanding performance of staff across the company; many have worked at Randolph Hill for a number of years, providing essential continuity of care for residents and especially contributes to the family atmosphere. A named nurse and key worker is assigned to each resident and helps build relationships and this single point of contact is useful for families keen to know how their relative is faring and discuss any aspects of their daily care and activities.
Our brochures have all you need to know before arranging a visit at one of our homes. You can download it to read in your own time and share with other family members.
