A wonderful beach day!

Fidra House residents enjoyed a lovely beach wheelchair trip on Thursday 6th August. Although the sun decided to stay away and we had a brief spell of rain, it certainly didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits!

There were plenty of smiles, fresh sea air, and happy memories, followed by a well-deserved ice cream before heading home.

For one of our residents, the trip was especially meaningful as she was able to see her old house on the seafront and share wonderful memories of the time she spent at the beach.

It’s moments like these that make our outings so special, creating new memories while reconnecting with the people, places and experiences that have shaped our residents’ lives.
